So much preparation goes into Holiday in the Pines each year. And then it comes and goes before you know it. Although it was fast and furious, we had so much fun! So many excited shoppers and friends of the studio dropped by our booth to see what we had this year. We were floored by the overwhelming number of people complimenting our work and our specialty products. Thank you so much for that! It helps us realize how much people truly appreciate the unique qualities of our studio.
By far, the most talked about product we displayed was our "Metal Prints." Not only was our sign printed on this new nifty medium, but we had a 5-piece wall collection as well as a 30" stand alone metal print. All I can say is that you have to see it in person to appreciate its true astonishing beauty. There is just something about how the colors radiate off of the metal that blows you away. Come by our studio sometime to see these amazing pieces displayed in our gallery.
In addition to the metal prints, we displayed more traditional wall groupings as well as presented our ever-adored "storybook wedding albums." These albums always catch people's attention, as they should. They tell the story of your special day in a beautifully artistic and altogether unique manner.
Another item we offered that captured a lot of attention was our "landmark photo ornaments." I hope I don't embarass anyone here, but two particular people come to mind. One lovely lady walked into HIP on Saturday at 9am and had bought her ornament by 9:02. The image on her ornament was that of the Goodman Bridge... or as she put it so emphatically, "That's My Bridge!" She drives it every day and was surprised to see it on one of our ornaments. Another lady bought an ornament that pictured Lake Nacogdoches at sunset. She informed me that that was where she was proposed to. These are the stories we love being a part of.
And finally, for those of you who didn't enter our facebook contest or even know about it, we unveiled and presented to the winner of our "Facebook Foto Frenzy" at Holiday in the Pines. This year's winner was Lauren Snider. She won a $300 gift certificate to our studio. We are already in the works of scheduling the right time for her family to come in for their portrait session. Thank you to all who participated. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
And thank you to all who visited our booth! What an amazing year!
